GBC Contractors is seeking an experienced Drainer to join our team and start immediately.

The successful candidate must have at least two years of experience in a similar role and be proficient in all aspects of drainage and plumbing in the Civil sector.

Responsibilities:
-Install pipes for storm and sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
-Ensure that excavation is carried out according to drawings and specifications, with trenches benched, battered, or shored as necessary due to ground conditions.
-Review DBYD drawings and identify services before starting work.
-Set out work to line, level, and grade in accordance with survey.
-Cut pipes to required lengths.
-Minimize material and time wastage by adopting efficient methods.

Requirements:
-Strong commitment to safety for yourself and team.
-Ability to read and understand site plans.
-Ability to work within strict deadlines and project scopes.
-Decisive problem solver.
-Strong interpersonal skills and receptive to constructive feedback.
-Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
-Current QLD Drivers Licence and Construction White Card.

Salary: The position pays between $79040-$98,800
