The Domain Architect - Digital is responsible for designing and governing the digital platform and application landscape across HCF’s enterprise. This role ensures that digital solutions are strategically aligned, technically robust, and deliver seamless, secure, and scalable experiences for members, providers, and corporates. Responsibilities Contribute to the Digital Ecosystem architecture, aligning with Enterprise Architecture Define and establish high-level and low-level technical designs aligned with solution architecture and digital platform standards Lead the end-to-end solutioning of digital initiatives, ensuring cohesive integration across the digital ecosystem Partner with business stakeholders to understand digital experience goals and translate them into scalable, secure, and user-centric digital solutions Evaluate and select appropriate digital technologies, platforms, and tools to support business and customer needs Ensure digital platform and application design best practices are embedded in HLD and LLD, including accessibility, responsive design, performance, and security Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure digital solutions meet compliance, privacy, and operational requirements Perform work in a manner that complies with relevant regulatory standards including Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree or certifications in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ZACHMAN preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in producing technical system design specifications aligned to current and target state architectures. Proficient in architecture modelling and documentation tools such as Visio, Gliffy, and Confluence. Experience in applying architecture governance frameworks and contributing to enterprise architecture practices. Proven leadership in designing and implementing complex, mission-critical, and high-traffic digital solution architectures across web and mobile platforms. Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud and mobile app ecosystems (iOS, Android, cross-platform frameworks). Strong understanding of on-premise, cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, iPaaS), and hybrid deployment models. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Deep understanding of digital ecosystem trends, emerging technologies, and digital engineering best practices. Experience in the private health insurance or broader healthcare industry is highly desirable. About HCF At HCF, our purpose is to bring our human touch to healthcare.
