Gentle Paws is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our busy, professional team in North Perth. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a love for dogs, and enjoys being part of a supportive small salon.
The role offers flexibility with casual, part-time, or full-time positions available for the right candidate!
Primary Responsibilities
Providing high-quality grooming services across all breeds and coat types
Maintaining grooming equipment and keeping a clean and hygienic workspace
Adhering to strict safety, hygiene, and behavioural protocols to ensure every dog's wellbeing as well as the safety of yourself and others
Secondary / Ad Hoc Responsibilities
Providing professional customer service and building strong relationships with pet owners
Assisting with daily salon operations, such as answering phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and checking dogs in and out
General cleaning duties when required
What we're looking for
3+ years professional dog grooming experiencerequired
Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming)  essential
Strong technical skills across breed-specific clips, coat care, and style grooming techniques
Excellent attention to detail and genuine pride in your work
Good workplace communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Effective customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners
A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to the highest standards of safety and care
Australian work rights required

Salary (FTE): $76,515/annum + Super
