Cybersecurity Department The Cybersecurity department at Vantage Data Centers prides itself on its inclusive and collaborative environment. We work closely with other departments to ensure that any technology, hardware, or software, is updated, properly configured, vetted and monitored before, during and after deployment. The department’s responsibilities include actively participating industry standard audits such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and others. We are responsible for the ISMS and maintaining and creating the policies and procedures and programs that are the backbone of the company. We are a dynamic department where our day-to-day tasks may vary but it is always rewarding. Position Overview This position can be based remotely in the US. The DLP Analyst will play a critical role in protecting Vantage’s sensitive data and strengthening our overall security posture. This role is responsible for monitoring and triaging data loss prevention (DLP) alerts, escalating issues when needed, and conducting investigations using both internal tools and open-source intelligence (OSINT). You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to assess potential risks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies that keep our data secure. Beyond day-to-day alert monitoring, you’ll also produce clear, actionable intelligence reports, support incident response, and help optimize the tools and processes that drive our global security program. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, has strong analytical and investigative skills, and can translate complex data into insights that inform decision-making. Essential Job Functions: Monitor and triage daily Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts and escalate issues as appropriate. Validate alerts and prepare true-positive reports. Conduct open-source (OSINT) investigations and daily social media reviews. Perform risk assessments on threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations to enhance security posture. Assist in incident response during security incidents or emergencies. Write comprehensive intelligence reports with clear, actionable insights. Manage and maintain intelligence tools and platforms for efficient operations. Participate in post-incident reviews and lessons learned to improve processes, tools, and procedures. Additional Duties: Handle additional duties as assigned by Management. Requirements (Skills): High proficiency in DLP strategies and principles; ability to produce DLP reports quickly and accurately. Advanced OSINT capabilities; deep knowledge of techniques, tools, and resources. Excellent investigative and analytical skills; strong written communication. Solid understanding of the current geopolitical environment. Demonstrated aptitude to learn new technologies quickly; adaptable, innovative, continuous learner. Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves. Experience & Qualifications: 3+ years working with DLP alerting Proofpoint ITM: 2+ years hands-on, 3+ years preferred. 1+ years with one or more: Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint DLP, Varonis, Teramind 3+ years in incident response activities Master’s degree in a relevant discipline 1+ years with intelligence platforms such as Dataminr or LifeRaft Navigator Physical Demands and Special Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Additional Details: Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations) This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
