The Role

We’re seeking compassionate, reliable Disability Support Workers to join our Cairns team. This is a part-time position offering up to 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling available.

You’ll work directly with NDIS participants to support daily routines, personal goals, and community engagement.

Typical duties include:

Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care

Supporting clients to participate in community activities

Providing in-home support and transport (where required)

Encouraging independence and capacity building

Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)

Working With Children Check (Blue Card) if required

Current driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

Strong communication skills and a person-centred mindset

A commitment to participant safety, dignity, and confidentiality
