  • Job Description
  • As Director of Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel across multiple departments, ensuring seamless operations and consistently high standards. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll provide strategic leadership, support department heads, and champion a culture of excellence, innovation, and care for our guests and our team

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and inspire operational department heads to achieve guest satisfaction, financial performance and team engagement goals
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations across Rooms and Food & Beverage to ensure consistency, efficiency and excellence.
  • Support with the opening of our new Eastern Mediterranean Rooftop Venue, Cleo
  • Partner with the General Manager on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and implementation of operational initiatives.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement strategies to elevate service standards.
  • Drive compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion the Hyde brand values and deliver experiences that reflect the hotel’s unique personality and style.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with owners, stakeholders, and the local community.
  • Qualifications
  • What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge across multiple hotel disciplines
  • A natural leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
  • Commercially astute with demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
