About us

We are a community based not for profit preschool. Our preschool is culturally and linguistically diverse and we would value any additional languages spoken by applicants (not essential). You would be working within a team of Educators and Early Childhood Teachers who have a strong Anti-bias approach to Early Childhood Education. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to progress their career through professional development. We believe children are active participants in their own learning and we strive to work closely with our families to create the best opportunities for all our children to equally participate in our program.

Qualifications & experience

Diploma of Education and Care Early Childhood
Current First Aid Certificate including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
Child protection training preferred as we are committed to providing a Child Safe environment
Previous experience in a similar position valued but not essential, we are seeking a team member who is enthusiastic and fits within our preschool philosophy.
Current Working With Children Check and willingness to complete a Police Check on offer of position
Tasks & responsibilities

Working collaboratively in a team of Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to contribute to planning decisions, developmental observations and critical reflection on a digital platform
A good understanding of National Quality Framework and Regulations
Active supervision of children to ensure a child safe environment is maintained
Positive engagement with children to help guide the learning process

We are a community based preschool that operates school hours and school terms. 4 weeks annual leave and 8 weeks annual stand down time working from home.

Above award wages

$38.82 - $48.82 per hour

Pay: $42.00 – $50.00 per hour
