About
Digital Marketing Designer (Templates & Assets) Who We Are Campaign Request is a tech-enabled marketing subscription platform where campaigns are delivered quickly through a structured workflow. We’re scaling up and looking for contractors who want to grow with us. We work with people who are in the growth stage of their career – eager for consistent work, motivated by incentives, and keen to build a long-term relationship. We value reliability, clear communication, and a problem-solving mindset. What the Role Involves Build and maintain our design system: Create the core design assets that our team will reuse across campaigns. This includes components like email templates (headers, footers, content blocks), landing page sections, LinkedIn/social post layouts, brand graphic elements, and more. You’ll organise all these pieces in our Figma workspace so they’re ready for the team to grab and use. Design templates, not one-offs: Rather than custom-designing every new request, focus on building flexible templates and modules. For example, set up reusable email layouts, social media post formats, and landing page sections that can be adapted across clients. Your priority is creating a system of design building blocks, not constant bespoke artwork. Ensure brand consistency: Make sure all templates and components align with each client’s brand guidelines. That means consistent typography, spacing, colour schemes, image style, and overall look-and-feel. The assets you create should be easy for non-designers to use without breaking the brand. Turn around asset requests quickly: When the team needs a new template or design asset, you can knock it out fast. Most requests will be small but important additions (like a new banner or a specific layout module) to expand our library. You deliver promptly and update the Figma library so everyone has the latest components. No big campaign creative or copywriting: This role is about execution and systems, not inventing brand-new campaign concepts or writing copy. Our strategy and messaging are handled elsewhere – you’re providing the visual templates and components that support those campaigns. Who We’re Looking For This gig is perfect for a designer who loves building systems and style guides more than crafting one-off visuals. We’re looking for someone highly organised, fast, and dependable. You should get satisfaction from having a tidy Figma library of components as much as delivering a final design. If you’re detail-oriented, consistent in your work, and quick to turn around requests, you’ll excel in this role. Requirements Expert Figma skills: You know Figma inside-out – from creating component libraries and using auto-layout, to structuring files logically and building templates that others can easily follow. (Our entire design system lives in Figma.) Marketing design experience: Background in designing for digital marketing – e.g. you’ve made email graphics, landing page sections, social media visuals, display ads, etc. You understand practical constraints like file sizes for email, responsive design considerations, and keeping things on-brand and readable. Template-first thinking: You excel at turning one-off designs into reusable templates. You ensure colours, typography, spacing and other styles are consistent across assets, and you build designs that can scale and be repurposed rather than starting from scratch each time. Fast and detail-oriented: You can produce high-quality design output quickly. If we need a new module or graphic, you can create it in an hour or two without sacrificing quality. Plus, you keep your design files neat and well-organised so others can use them easily. Clear communicator: You’re comfortable updating the team on your progress, clarifying requirements, and collaborating through our platform (and Slack). You can give and receive feedback in stride, and you make sure everyone’s on the same page. How to Apply Interested? Please send a link to your portfolio (especially any design systems or template work) and a brief note about your relevant experience. Please note: This role is hourly only – apply only if you are willing to work on an hourly basis at the rate you propose (no fixed-price arrangements). Once you’re up to speed and delivering great work, we have an incentive program with achievable KPIs that can unlock an end-of-month bonus. You’ll be designing for multiple clients using our structured processes, so you must be comfortable creating assets for different brands within a systematised workflow. We look forward to hearing from you!
