The Operations Group is responsible for providing high-quality services and support to the education system and supporting and regulating the early childhood education and care sector. This includes
- ensuring the best use of our resources to improve education outcomes for children and young people
- making sure that schools and the department have the right technology to support the delivery of education
- simplifying administrative processes
- providing information, support and advice to schools and staff through EDConnect, the shared service centre, and overseeing effective operational practices
- monitoring, supporting and regulating the early childhood education and care sector in NSW and ensuring continuous improvement in quality
- supporting, promoting and enabling good governance, risk management frameworks, controls assurance, and fraud and corruption services.
- About the position
- The Digital Learning Advisor (SEO2) provides direct, on-the-ground support to schools. Reporting to the Lead, Digital Support Team (CEO), this role is a hands-on position, focused on delivering tailored support, professional learning and mentoring to teachers. The Digital Learning Advisor will enhance teacher capability and develop in staff a deeper understanding of how to effectively utilise and leverage technology to improve student engagement and performance.
