Fork Force is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Diesel Motor Mechanic to join their QLD team.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of forklifts, including preventative service and breakdowns on time
• Carry out all repairs according to the manufacturer's specifications
• Document work completed on each repair order to ensure accurate information transfer
• Routine servicing of forklift and equipment
• Rebuilding/Replacement of forklift engines, transmissions, and fuel systems
• Remove, replace, and refit associated electrical and electronic systems
• Diagnose and service mechanical faults
• Demonstrating and maintaining clean workshop practices in your day-to-day role and ensuring that these practices meet the high standards held by the workshop team
• Maintain safe working conditions and practices
• Working efficiently and accurately and in line with company policy and procedure
Skills and Experience:
• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience ( Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic, Forklift Mechanic)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Forklift Licence would be an advantage
• Diagnostic experience
• Ability to show a high level of skills in following the manufacturer's guidance, ensuring quality workmanship
• Have a strong adherence to OH&S and in keeping with a safe workplace
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as required

Salary: $76,000- $80,000/ year + Super
