Randstad is proud to partner with our client, a leader in the industrial sector, to find an experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their growing team in Sydney. This is a newly created, full-time positions offering an immediate start for the right candidates.

• Permanent, full-time position
• Annual base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 + super, +penalties (based on your skills and experience)

About the Role:

As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of industrial equipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults on large diesel engines
• Performing routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Conducting major and minor repairs, including engine overhauls
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
• Overtime is available, but not guaranteed

About You:

We are looking for hands-on, experienced Diesel Mechanics with a strong background working on large, industrial 4-stroke diesel engines.

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on industrial rather than automotive engines
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is highly desirable. The company may consider temporary visa holders with a clear path to permanent residency.
• Able to pass a medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
