About
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing engineering team and help build scalable, high-availability infrastructure while improving automation and deployment pipelines.
This is a full-time remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Develop and support server infrastructure, ensuring optimal uptime and performance
- Automate and improve development, deployment, and release processes
- Monitor system performance, conduct stress testing, and resolve bottlenecks
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity practices across infrastructure
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Plan and execute PCI DSS certification processes
- Manage infrastructure costs and perform capacity planning aligned with budget
- Work cross-functionally with developers and engineers to ensure DevOps best practices are integrated into the SDLC
- Define and manage SLI/SLO/SLA metrics to meet performance objectives
- Participate in project planning and contribute to technical decision-making
Requirements:
- Languages proficiency: Intermediate level of English, fluent/native level of Ukrainian / Russian
- 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Previous experience with highload applications (preferably in iGaming / gambling) is a must
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Hands-on experience with:
- AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, KMS, S3, NLB/ELB, MSK)
- PostgreSQL (RDS, Aurora)
- GitOps/Flux/Argo CD
- EFK stack, Victoriametrics, Grafana
- GitLab, Terraform, Ansible
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack, routing, and network architecture
- Knowledge of SLI/SLO/SLA principles and experience in defining them
- Demonstrated ability to build highly available systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a team setting
- Strong analytical mindset for root-cause analysis and performance optimization
