Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and support secure, scalable cloud platforms in an enterprise environment. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure engineering, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container platforms, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM templates.
Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Deploy and manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, and DNS.
Implement and manage container platforms including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Helm charts, ingress controllers, and container registries.
Apply cloud governance and compliance controls using Management Groups, Subscriptions, RBAC, Azure Policy, tagging standards, and cost management.
Implement security best practices using Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and Security Center.
Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Plan and manage Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity (BCDR) solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support high-availability environments.
Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams to deliver reliable DevOps solutions.
Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
Skills & Experience Required
7–10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or Software Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Proven expertise in Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM, and version-controlled IaC.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automation practices.
Experience with Kubernetes / AKS and containerised workloads.
Solid knowledge of networking concepts (VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, VPNs, firewalls).
Experience with identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC).
Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM processes and tools such as ServiceNow.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
