Description: We’re building a peer-to-peer marketplace on Sharetribe and need an experienced developer to help with custom coding beyond the standard out-of-the-box setup. Our marketplace is focused on second-hand goods, with strong emphasis on verified sellers, safe payments, and delivery partner integration. We’re currently running on Sharetribe Go but plan to expand with more custom functionality (Flex in the future). Key Tasks: Implement custom fields and logic in Sharetribe (e.g., verified seller badges, item condition grading, delivery workflows). Create small UI/UX adjustments (styling, forms, modals, user dashboards). Assist with integrations (Stripe Connect, Klaviyo, delivery partner forms, Google Sheets/Zapier/Make). Provide guidance on best practices for scaling Sharetribe customizations. Requirements: Strong experience with Sharetribe (Go and/or Flex). Comfortable with custom CSS/JS/HTML in Sharetribe. API experience (Stripe, Zapier/Make, Klaviyo a plus). Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively. Nice to Have: Experience with peer-to-peer marketplace builds. Understanding of UX for trust & safety features. Knowledge of payment flow compliance. Budget & Engagement: Hourly or fixed-price depending on scope. Looking to start with small tasks (e.g., verified seller field & badge) and expand to larger customizations. Potential for ongoing work as the marketplace grows.
