Description I’m looking for an experienced data scraping professional (or team) to build a large database of Australian trade businesses. The data is public (directories.) and I need it extracted, cleaned, and enriched into a usable format. Scope of Work * Scrape business names and details (across A–Z) from public trade directories. * Collect fields: business name, owner/primary contact (if shown), suburb/state, trade type, ABN (if * listed), phone number, website, email (if available). * Cross-check business status (active vs inactive) via ABN lookup or Google Business. * Deliver clean data in Google Sheets or CSV. Requirements *Proven experience scraping at scale (50,000+ records). *Ability to bypass duplicates and clean data. *Experience with enrichment tools (ABN API, Hunter.io, Google Places, etc.) is a plus. *Must ensure compliance with local laws (only public, non-sensitive data). *Clear communication and examples of similar projects done before. Deliverables *A structured spreadsheet (CSV/Google Sheet) with the following fields: *Business Name *Contact Name (if available) *Trade Type *State *Phone Number *Email (if available) *Website (if available) *ABN / Status (Active or Cancelled) Initial test batch (500 records) to confirm quality before scaling up.
