AI Talent is on the lookout for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will apply analytical techniques and scientific procedures to large and complex datasets, using statistical models and machine learning frameworks to uncover actionable insights. Your work will directly support strategic planning, innovation, and decision-making across the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in a Data Science or Advanced Analytics role.

Skills:

Prepare and clean structured and unstructured data for analysis; identify and resolve data quality issues.

Apply analytics techniques using a combination of mathematics, statistics, programming, and database management skills.

Design, build, and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence frameworks using tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

Apply and validate predictive and statistical models to uncover patterns, trends and insights.

Evaluate, fine-tune and interpret model outputs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and business impact.

Create dashboards, reports, and compelling data visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly.

Present data-driven insights and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering and operations to translate business problems into data science solutions.

Contribute to innovation and experimentation by testing new algorithms and modelling approaches.

Provide strategic input into the organisation’s long-term data science roadmap and capability building.

Requirements:
Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end data science projects.

Strong coding skills in Python or R, and experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data pipelines.

Strong understanding of statistical inference, machine learning, and AI model deployment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Creative thinker with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.

Job Details:
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Schedule: 8-hour shift
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year + Super
Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)
