I am looking for an experienced developer with strong knowledge of trading systems, short locates, and DAS Trader API integration to help build a specialized solution for HTB (hard-to-borrow) short inventory acquisition. What I need: Code that can efficiently and competitively request short locates through DAS Trader (or related brokers). Optimization to ensure speed, priority, and reliability of requests (locates can be extremely time-sensitive and competitive). Guidance or setup on best server/location hosting (e.g. colocation or low-latency setups) if required for performance. Possibly additional tooling to manage/monitor locate requests and results. The challenge: Even with automated locate services, it can be very difficult to secure the required locates in time. I need a solution that goes beyond basic automation - something designed for efficiency, speed, and competitive execution.
