What is Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA)?
Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a national employment program led by Endeavour Foundation that empowers people with intellectual disability to prepare for, gain and sustain meaningful open employment. It focuses on person-centred support, employer engagement, and creating lasting inclusion in the workforce.
About the Role
As a Customer Care Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for participants, employers, and stakeholders, setting the tone for their experience with the IEA program.
Based in our lakeside offices in Bokarina, this phone-based, fast-paced role provides exceptional customer service and administrative support to both our customers and our wider teams via phone or video.
You will provide essential administrative support to our customers and site teams, ensuring all interactions are welcoming, informative, and inclusive.
You’ll help maintain smooth operations, assist field-based staff, and ensure that every customer feels supported and informed throughout their employment journey.
What You’ll Be Doing
Using a combination of inbound and outbound calls, email and video you will welcome and guide our customers and all other enquiries, providing accurate information about employment services in a clear and professional manner.
Coordinate appointments and manage site calendars, send reminders, and follow up with participants and employers.
Maintain accurate data in CRM systems, action compliance tasks, and support audit readiness.
Assist with administrative tasks such as resume updates, job referrals, and vacancy management to help our customers and the business achieve their goals.
Promote services through business development support and event coordination.
What You’ll Bring
Exceptional customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong organisational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced setting.
Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales, employment services or call centres.
High level of professionalism, positivity, and resilience.
Competency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
