DO NOT APPLY OUTSIDE OF UPWORK, YOU WILL BE IGNORED We’ve built a new WordPress website for our asset finance brokerage, Dealify: (link removed) The site is mostly designed and built, but we need an experienced conversion-focused WordPress developer to review, refine and finish it so it is ready to send traffic to. Our goal: More qualified quote requests and phone calls, especially from ABN holders and general asset finance clients. ⸻ Scope of Work 1. CRO and UX polish • Review the homepage and key service pages (Car Finance, Caravan Finance, Boat, ABN Vehicle, Truck, Equipment etc.). • Optimise above-the-fold sections for: • Clear value proposition • Strong headline and subheadline • One clear primary call to action • Improve readability: spacing, font sizes, hierarchy, and scannability. • Ensure “Get a Quote” and “Call” CTAs are consistent and prominent across the site. • Improve use of social proof: • Google review snippets or rating • Awards and badges • “NSW / Australia-wide” credibility indicators 2. Forms and user flow • Review and refine enquiry / quote forms: • Streamline fields to balance conversion rate and lead quality • Ensure success messages and error messages are clear and user-friendly • Create or refine thank-you page / message with clear next steps for the user. • Check that all form links and buttons work as expected on both desktop and mobile. 3. Technical and front-end tidy-up • Fix any layout bugs, broken links, dummy text, or placeholder sections. • Ensure mobile responsiveness across popular device sizes. • Check and tidy: • Header and menu behaviour • Footer layout and links • Blog / resource layouts (if applicable) • Basic speed optimisation, such as: • Image optimisation • Caching plugin configuration (if needed) • Removing obviously unnecessary bloat where practical 4. Calculator and finance-specific elements • Review and fix the repayment calculator so it: • Works reliably on all devices • Shows realistic default values • Sits cleanly within the layout without pushing things around • Make sure finance-related content and messaging look professional and trustworthy. 5. On-page SEO fundamentals (No deep SEO campaign – just best practice while we optimise for conversions.) • Clean, logical H1/H2 structure that matches the main service keywords. • Sensible meta titles and descriptions for key pages. • Internal links from general pages to high-intent “money” pages. 6. Compliance and trust (finance) • Ensure: • Disclaimers are visible where needed • Credit licence / ACL and business details are correct in the footer • Privacy policy and T&Cs are present and easy to find • Sanity-check any claims around “lowest rates” or similar so the layout and wording do not look misleading. ⸻ What You’ll Be Working With • Platform: WordPress on Cloudways • Stack: Modern theme and plugins (details will be provided) • Most content, structure and design are already in place. This is a polish and optimise job, not a full rebuild. You will receive: • WordPress admin access • Hosting access if needed for technical fixes • A quick overview of our ideal client and primary services ⸻ Ideal Skill Set Must-have: • Strong WordPress experience (themes, child themes, page builders, custom CSS). • Demonstrable CRO / UX experience for lead generation sites. • Good eye for design polish and mobile UX. • Ability to work independently and propose improvements, not just take orders. Nice-to-have: • Experience with finance / mortgage / loan websites. • Familiarity with Australian audiences and tone. ⸻ Deliverables By the end of the project we want: 1. A finished, polished, mobile-optimised site ready for paid and organic traffic. 2. Clear, simple conversion paths for users to: • Request a quote • Call the business 3. All key pages visually consistent, professional, and aligned with our brand.
