We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Creative & Business Development Manager to join our USYNC team. Reporting to the General Manager of Sync and Licensing, this role is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with both new partners and existing clients across local and international markets. Acting as a conduit between frontline labels and the sync team, this position will proactively facilitate pitches, new business meetings and align with label priorities to effectively implement a global sync strategy. If you have an aptitude for sales and are obsessed with music, apply now! The Role Creative Creatively pitch both domestic and international repertoire to Australian and International client base. Respond to incoming briefs and proactively service clients with new repertoire and catalogue priorities. Coordinate regular listening sessions with key partners. Responsible for curation of playlists and tagging of both local and international catalogue in client facing DISCO libraries. Sync A&R – liaise with local A&R teams on bespoke opportunities for both incoming briefs and proactive sync A&R activity. Liaise with internal artist development teams on artist strategy and sync opportunities. Provide quarterly pitch reports. Investigate promo and marketing opportunities. Business Development Develop and build on existing relationships with clients such as media agencies, music supervisors, TV and Film production companies, TV Networks, Digital (streaming platforms) and Gaming Companies. Manage local and international CRM. Research and identify new potential sync clients and market opportunities. Develop proposals and present to prospective clients. Set up new business meetings. Provide a thorough and detailed report of new leads, proactive pitches and local and international market research. Coordinate gig invites for clients and attend when necessary. Manage monthly e-marketing and communications targeting new and existing partners on Local Client Mailers, International Mailers and Internal Mailers. About You A strong networker with superior customer service skills. Possess a unique ear for music and talent for curating playlists for visual content. Strong technical skills in CRM (Salesforce) and clearance processes. General knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Keynote. 3+ years in synchronisation, licensing or in a similar role in the music/entertainment industry. Strong attention to detail – consistently delivers on briefs in a timely and accurate manner. Excellent presenting skills. Highly organised with superior creative administration skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Industry knowledge essential. Must be obsessed with music! Secondary education qualification required (e.g. HSC). Tertiary qualification preferred by not essential.
