About The Role
The Corporate Planning and Performance Advisor plays a crucial role in the ongoing implementation of the Council's strategic management framework. This position is responsible for the development and delivery of progress reports, contributing to planning documents, and providing expert guidance to various stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with managers and team leaders to integrate performance measurement into strategic initiatives and enhance overall organisational performance.
You will administer the Corporate Performance System and facilitate workshops that support strategic discussions and decision-making processes, ensuring that the objectives outlined in the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, and Operational Plan are met effectively.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in strategic planning and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business Administration, Social Planning, or a related field.
- A current driver's licence.
- Proven knowledge and experience in supporting strategic/business planning and performance reporting.
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Desirable experiences include working in a local government environment, familiarity with the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework, and proficiency in tools such as OneCouncil Corporate Performance module.

- Package: $93,854 - $99,489 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Temporary Full Time. Opportunity expected to be available up to end of August 2026. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
