VIP Immigration, on behalf of Murrumbateman Country Inn (EMINEMZ PTY LTD), is seeking a skilled and motivated Cooks or Chefs to join the kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your passion, energy, and leadership into a supportive and professional environment.

The Role:

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with two rostered days off. You will be part of a busy and dynamic kitchen, preparing and cooking for restaurant service, private functions, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals to order across all kitchen sections

• Ensure high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency

• Work confidently with pans, grills, and fryers during service

• Monitor stock levels, control costs, and reduce wastage

• Support, train, and mentor kitchen staff

• Assist with menu design, costing, and implementation

• Maintain strict HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards

• Liaise with suppliers and manage ordering requirements

• Assist with rostering and smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a commercial kitchen

• Strong teamwork and leadership skills with the ability to perform under pressure

• Passion for food quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary $76,000 – $90,000 + super
