Qualification

Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) – compulsory

Experience

Minimum 1 year of work experience in a fast-paced kitchen

Key Duties

Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to menu and customer requirements.

Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion sizes are maintained consistently.

Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimise food wastage.

Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to manage busy service periods.

Assist in menu planning, special functions, and development of new dishes.
