Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year

At Kandy by Sri Lankan Bites - the first stop on their journey through the diverse and delicious cultures of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. Kandy is authentic and fusion Sri Lankan food.

Kandy is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Cook to join their team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Confidence in their cooking abilities
Creativity and high presentation standards
Ability to create dishes with consistency
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
Train and manage junior cooks and kitchen staff.
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications Cert III or IV in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
