Bombay to Byron Pty Ltd (ABN 78 168 879 543) located at Byron Bay, NSW, 2481 Australia is seeking to employ a full-time Cook who is reliable, experienced and passionate in what we do. The offered salary is between $73,000 to $77,000 (offer varies according to experience)

Applicants will be required to undertake the below Job duties and responsibilities:

· Creating and executing plans for prep, checking stock level and coordinating with the kitchen team during service to efficiently send out food to patrons

· At all times, maintain a safe and sanitary work conditions environment

· Discuss with kitchen team for the day or following service, to plan and check how much people are booked for the upcoming service or if there is any functions booked

· Check and maintain stock par level and place order when necessary, Check delivery and ingredients expiry dates. Ensure all ingredients in stock are properly stored in the cool room, freezer or dry store to ensure quality and freshness

· Maintain cleanliness of all equipment

· Cover all food and store in right temperature. When needed, freeze and preserve foods

· Implement and enforce strict hygiene practices

· During busy periods, ensure to communicate well and work effectively with the team for a smooth service operation

· Assist front of house team members by communicating and providing information regarding the food item and availability of special dietary requests

· Analyse customer complaints and feedback for constant improvements

· Run kitchen area properly during rush hour while maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, monitor quality of dishes at all stages or preparation and presentation
