Kash Restaurants Pty Ltd, trading as Skky bistro sport bar and restaurant are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking, be able to work well under pressure, and take pride in delivering meals that their customers enjoy.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to set recipes while keeping quality standards high.

Check and select ingredients to make sure everything used is fresh and of good quality.

Operate ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment at the right temperatures.

Season and cook food to get the right flavour, texture, and consistency.

Portion food correctly, plate meals neatly, and add sauces or garnishes for presentation.

Follow all food safety and hygiene rules, including allergen awareness and control.

Keep the kitchen, storage, and preparation areas clean, safe, and organised.

Assist with general food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, or thawing.

Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Support other kitchen staff during busy times by helping where required.

Work as part of a team to make sure every dish is consistent and meets customer expectations.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

1-2 Years of relevant experience in the industry.
