We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Aqua Kitchen and Bar in Angourie, NSW.

We are looking for someone to have a strong creative influence in our celiac friendly kitchen who is passionate about showcasing fresh local ingredients. As a full-time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, modern, gluten free cuisine, ensuring food quality is at a consistently high standard
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient, seamless service
- Assisting with menu development and recipe creation
- Ensuring a clean, organised and well-stocked kitchen
- Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
- Providing exceptional customer service to all guests and being flexible with
client requests.
What we're looking for
- Passion for creating innovative, delicious dishes
- Minimum 4 years proven record of working in a busy commercial kitchen
- Qualification needed: AQF Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Culinary Service.
- Prior experience cooking/baking Gluten Free products
- Committed and reliable
- Able to work autonomously or part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety. Preferably hold a food safety certificate.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Have experience in ordering for the kitchen and bar
- Be adaptable and dynamic and able to train staff in correct company procedures
- Fun, positive, team-oriented attitude
