The Malabar Crows Nest Restaurant features mesmerising floor to ceiling murals of India, solid timber chairs and a cuisine filled with healthy fresh traditional choices, Malabar pays homage to its South Indian heritage. The sharing style menu features a vast selection of South Indian specialities such as vadas and dosai.

We are looking for a Cook with hand on experience in "South Indian Cuisine". The duties would include the following:

- Cooking great quality food to meet customer's expectations. Proficiency in making a variety of Dosais which are the signature dishes of the restaurant.

- Adjust and customize menu as required to meet customer's preference, dietary requirements, improve restaurant profile & reputation in great food variety, taste & quality.

- Ordering and dealing with suppliers.

- Daily Food Preparation and Portioning.

- Cooking Curries and Work on Tandoor.

- Manage the kitchen premises so it is in clean and hygienic condition using environmentally sustainable procedures.

- Lead in regulatory compliance including implementing occupational health & safety procedures to create safe working environment for staff, customers and public.

- Work Directly under the Head Chef and other Chefs.
