Pino's Vino e Cucina is an Italian full-service restaurant based in Cronulla, Sydney.

The restaurant is looking for a qualified Cook to join the team.

Candidate must work autonomously and, in a group, have high energy levels and bring a can-do attitude. Pino's Vino e Cucina is looking for people who can remain calm under pressure and have fun at work while maintaining professionalism during busy hours.

The right candidate for the position will be responsible for:

Assisting the Chef and Head Chef;
Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specification as set by the head chef
Preparing and delivering dishes from the selected menu;
Attention to details when preparing and cooking food for customers with food allergies or intolerance
Presenting dishes in an elegant matter;
Ensuring food is of high standards by checking quality of cooked food, and food temperatures
Operating all cooking equipment including regulating temperatures of ovens and grills;
Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, walk-in cool room and storage areas
Following all applicable health, safety, and hygiene codes and standards;
Report any breakages and maintenance of equipment or bad stock to the head chef
About you:

· At least 2-3 years of experience as a Cook;

· Ability to produce an excellent culinary and restaurant experience for our customers;

· Extremely creative;

· Excellent time management, scheduling, and organisational skills;

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a variety of personalities and under pressure.

· Have a relevant qualification
