We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team on a full-time basis at our venue located in Granville NSW 2142.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for events and daily kitchen operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and venue standards
• Assist in planning and preparing menus for events and functions
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet required standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and work areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
• Assist in controlling food wastage and maintaining cost efficiency
• Work closely with kitchen staff and support Chef as required
• Cater for special dietary requirements and client preferences

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience as a Cook
• Relevant qualification (Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Passion for food and dedication to delivering quality meals
