About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused full-time Contract Administrator to join our construction team. You will be responsible for supporting contract documentation, assisting with project reporting, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant project delivery.
Key responsibilities
Draft, review, and adjust contract documents and variations.
Address contract-related inquiries and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate contract records and files.
Assist with negotiation of terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Update and renew existing agreements.
Identify and report risks associated with contract terms.
Liaise with legal and management teams on legislative and regulatory changes.
Explain contract requirements and conditions to staff and stakeholders.
Prepare and submit regular progress claims.
Provide project managers and site staff with contractual information and correspondence.
Assess and process variation claims, extension of time (EOT) requests, and other financial matters.
Maintain accurate project correspondence, registers, and records.
Assist with preparing cost plans, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
About you
2–3 years of experience in contract administration.
Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, and compliance processes.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and contract management software.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, business, or related fields (desirable).
