Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Administrator to join our team at Schiavello Construction SA Pty Ltd on a full-time basis.

As a Contract Administrator you will support the delivery of high-quality construction projects by assisting Project and Site Managers with planning, financial management, procurement, and QSE compliance. You will ensure projects remain cost-effective and timely while independently managing smaller-scale works. Your role is vital in meeting client expectations and contributing to the overall profitability and success of the project and business alike.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Administer contract milestones to support Project Managers in managing projects from inception through completion, ensuring all financial and delivery requirements are achieved.
2. Monitor and report on subcontractor and supplier performance to ensure project outcomes meet required standards and deadlines.
3. Assist with procurement, contract administration, progress claims, financial reporting and variations to contracts.
4. Attend client and consultant meetings as required; prepare and issue meeting minutes and reports.
5. Prepare and review accurate project documentation associated with contracts and services, maintaining meticulous records of variations, correspondence, and QSE records.
6. Prepare reports on the status of contracts and delivery of services.
7. Ensure complete customer satisfaction by responding promptly to client requests and proactively resolving issues.
8. Contribute to business improvement initiatives and continuous learning across the project team.
9. Promote a collaborative, safe, and professional work environment consistent with Schiavello’s values.
10. Undertake all correspondence, project, QSE, and reporting activities using the company’s technology platforms.
11. Participate in training and development as required by the business.

About you

To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
• Previous experience as Contract Administrator, Project Administrator, or similar.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ construction industry experience.
• Currently undertaking or completed an Advanced Diploma in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering; or trade-qualified Carpenter/Joinery with Cert III in OHS.
• Understanding of project financial processes, procurement, and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Project, and general computer literacy
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
