Within that division, Consumer Channel Sales works across the Windows + Devices product stack (Windows, Surface, M365) and partners with internal stakeholders and external retail partners to delight consumers and maximize mutual business results (revenue, margin, market share) maintaining the highest ethical, compliance and security standards throughout.
  • Finance at Microsoft interfaces across a broad intersection of business partners including Engineering, Marketing, Category Management, Sales, Data Science, Investments, Pricing/Deals and Supply Chain teams. The Windows and Devices Finance Team comprises of teams covering aspects of Sales, Revenue, Investments, Compete and Gross Margin for our various products & services.

Join the Windows and Devices Finance Team as an ASIA Retail Key Accounts Senior Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will help drive financial strategy and performance for our key Retail accounts in the ASIA region
  • The successful candidate will bring a combination of finance and business acumen, leadership, and influencing skills to this space to drive superior financial results in close alignment with our business partners.   • Responsibilities
  • Performance management: Partner with the ASIA Retail Sales team to help cross-product category results in line with financial commitments and distil actionable insights. Develop deep understanding of channel dynamics and each partner’s unique retail beats. Deliver insightful Partner-level performance analysis including driver-based understanding of past results / future trends vs. target. Provide account-specific Voice of the Customer insights to inform investments decisions.
  • Financial Planning Own partner account-level forecast & outlooks and account-level inputs to Region product category planning process. Drive forecast accuracy, contribute to feedback loops and category / channel alignment. Own financial input for partner business reviews & readiness sessions and ensure Key Beat planning is consistent with financial plans.
  • Growth & Transformation: Finance lead on partner account-specific growth initiatives. Leverage data-driven approach to inform growth strategies/opportunities. Lead financial modeling & investment design.
  • Investment Optimization Own the partner P&Ls for those key accounts, understanding their Cost To Serve (CTS) and tracking return on investments against revenue / volume / margin commitments. Leverage this analysis to inform investment decisions and optimize ROI, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities & prescribed investment guidelines. Track Rebate Program effectiveness and use insights to inform future program transformation.
  • Finance Processes and Accountabilities: Own P&L close process for Retail Programs (Key account Rebate programs, TPR). Collaborate with Region and WW peers to drive simplification and establish sustainable & scalable processes. Create strong Culture of Compliance in all interactions. Help drive fidelity of partner revenue & inventory reporting.
  • Community: Active member of the WW Key Accounts Controller community. Partner with Regional / WW peers to innovate, share insights & address common opportunities.
  • Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in multinational finance functions working with complex matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Consumer technology and / or Retail industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and influence business decision and strategic discussions.
  • Mastery of complex analytics & modelling and ability to distill critical insights & decision points.
  • Strong process management– able to synthesize & simplify multiple deliverables into concise logical workflows.
