Enth Degree Projects is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in Moorebank, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, playing a crucial part in our ongoing success and growth.

What you'll be doing
• Interpreting and analysing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to identify all necessary materials, labour, and equipment required
• Preparing detailed cost estimates, including material takeoffs, labour calculations, and equipment requirements
• Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information
• Identifying potential cost savings and alternative solutions to optimise project budgets
• Presenting and defending cost estimates to clients and stakeholders
• Continuously researching market trends, new products, and technologies to improve estimating accuracy
• Maintaining and updating the company's estimating databases and templates

What we're looking for
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in the commercial/industrial construction sector
• Excellent understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
• Proficient in using estimating software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve cost discrepancies
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information to various stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable estimates
• Familiarity with construction contracts, subcontracting, and procurement processes
