- Job Description
- You will be responsible for driving hotel sales by developing and maintaining key client accounts, generating new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. This includes preparing and converting event and conference proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the sales process. You will actively engage with clients through face-to-face meetings, calls, emails, site inspections, and entertainment opportunities, while accurately managing all activity in the Delphi.
- The role also involves promoting hotel facilities, services, and Accor’s loyalty programs, as well as representing the hotel at industry and promotional events. You will analyze competitor activity, prepare reports on sales performance and market trends, and work closely with regional and corporate teams to secure new business.
- As a senior member of the sales team, you will occasionally act on behalf of the Associate Director of Event Sales, contribute to departmental training and development, and uphold the highest professional and service standards while ensuring compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures.
- Qualifications
- •Proven background in conference, events, or hotel sales, ideally within hospitality, MICE or related industries
- •Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- •Experience in managing client accounts from initial enquiry through to contract negotiation and event delivery
- •Strong track record in building and maintaining client relationships, including corporate, government, and association sectors
