Concept Render Designer (Vehicle Fitouts) About VQuip VQuip is an Australian-owned specialist in commercial vehicle fitouts for corporate fleets and trades. We provide tailored solutions for vans, utes, and service bodies, delivering safe, efficient, and compliant mobile workspaces. We are seeking offshore support to create high-quality pre-sale concept renders for customer proposals. These renders will help communicate our fitout designs clearly and professionally to fleet managers, leasing companies, and end-users. ________________________________________ Role Overview We require a skilled Mechanical / Design Engineer with rendering experience to join us on a freelance basis and assist our Australian-based internal design team. The ideal candidate will have a sound engineering background, be proficient in SolidWorks, and experienced with a rendering program (preferably KeyShot), and have had previous experience working with vehicle designs. The role involves taking a base vehicle CAD model (or other), incorporating our supplied product CAD models, based on an itemised quote list, and producing realistic rendered images that illustrate the proposed fitout concept. ________________________________________ Responsibilities • Import and work with provided CAD models (vehicles and VQuip product range). • In some cases (less frequent), conceptualise new products to include in renders, based on direction from VQuip staff. • Position and assemble supplied components into the correct locations based on our itemised list. • Create concept renders showing internal and external views of vehicles. • Adjust lighting, materials, and presentation for customer-facing quality. • Deliver renders in agreed formats (high-resolution images, transparent backgrounds if required). • Occasionally create multiple options/variations for proposals. ________________________________________ Types of Projects 1. Vans • We will specify vehicle make/model (e.g., Toyota HiAce, Ford Transit, VW Crafter). • We will supply an itemised list of fitout components and their locations. • Freelancer to assemble and render the full fitout concept inside the vehicle model. • Deliverable: Realistic interior/exterior renders suitable for proposal documents. 2. Utes • We will specify vehicle make/model (e.g., Toyota HiLux, Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max). • We will supply the configuration (e.g., tray with toolboxes, or service body). • Freelancer to assemble and render the vehicle with accessories and fitout components. • Deliverable: High-quality renders for use in customer presentations. ________________________________________ Skills & Experience Required • Mechanical/Design engineering background (preferred). • Proficient in SolidWorks (essential). • Proficient in KeyShot or equivalent rendering software (preferred). • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical briefs. • Ability to deliver high-quality visualisations to deadlines. • Familiarity with vehicle CAD modelling is highly advantageous. ________________________________________ What We Provide • CAD models of vehicles (where available) or access to sourced base models. • CAD models of VQuip’s proprietary fitout products. • Detailed, itemised lists of required components and their placement. • Example renders for quality/style expectations. ________________________________________ Deliverables • Concept renders in high-resolution (PDF or PNG/JPEG). • Transparent-background versions if required. • Native CAD/KeyShot project files (if requested). • Typical project turnaround: 1- 2 days (to be agreed per job). ________________________________________ Engagement Details • Freelance / contract basis. • Ongoing work depending on performance and workload. • Paid per project (rate to be discussed based on complexity).
