SUMMARY OF DUTIES Provide coordination and liaison services between multiple partners and department staff within the local branch and/or district. The Community Partnership Coordinator (CPC) represents the agency and it’s various and diverse programs in a variety of community settings serving diverse populations. The CPC is responsible for developing and maintaining effective and positive working relationships with program service providers, social service providers, community and faith-based organizations and agency staff. This position is also responsible for advocating for ODHS clients, problem solving as necessary, to facilitate and/or enhance access to services by ODHS clients as they seek economic stability. This is accomplished by recommending program or service delivery changes based on research and outcome measurement. This position provides program and operational support to the Branch Operations Manager and Program Manager as needed. The position has authority to represent Self Sufficiency in researching and developing contracted services, resources, potential providers and participate in the development of contract language. Assists in monitoring and tracking of contracted services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; OR Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification. ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES Experience communicating clearly and precisely through different platforms (examples: cell phone, email, in person, Microsoft Teams) Experience in facilitating groups, trainings, or presentations. Experience building collaborative relationships with community partners. Experience with managing multiple projects at one time. Experience building a culture of inclusion and belonging. *Preference will be given to candidates that are bilingual in Spanish. Working Conditions Regular contact with ODHS staff, partners, providers, stakeholders, and customers in person and over the telephone. Time spent outside the office will be significant as the employee participates in community meetings and planning sessions, seeking resources for customers, and providing presentations on ODHS programs/services. This may also include customer’s homes and other public sites such as schools, businesses, other agencies, and partner sites. The employee may be exposed to and need to deal with a range of emotionally charged issues/situations. This may require conflict resolution skills and facilitation skills. This position may include working a flexible schedule that could include evening and/or weekends. The usual working hours will be in-office from 8am – 5pm. However, when in the interest of operational needs, the starting and stopping times for a particular 8-hour day may be adjusted. Occasional compensated overtime maybe required. All overtime must be pre-approved by supervisor before working it. A current driver’s license is required and an acceptable driving record.
