- Join Our Group Finance Team as a Commercial Finance Partner
- We’re seeking a dynamic Commercial Finance Partner to join our Group Finance team at Cuscal. In this high-impact role, you’ll operate as the 2IC to the Finance Manager, supporting all revenue-generating units across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career, gain exposure to senior leadership, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- You’ll be a key advisor to business units, delivering high-quality financial insights and strategic guidance. With a strong emphasis on building complex financial models, developing business cases, and identifying risks and opportunities, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving Cuscal’s next phase of growth.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Business Case Development & Financial Modelling
- Collaborate with Product leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain detailed, driver based financial models to support decision making.
- Develop product focused models for scenario and sensitivity analysis, vendor assessments, and other ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Review contracts and model financial outcomes to support negotiations.
- Act as a 2IC to the Finance Manager, assisting with various analytical tasks as needed.
- 2. Financial Storytelling for Non-Financial Stakeholders
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial managers.
- Deliver concise, impactful presentations that highlight key messages.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 3. Root Cause Analysis
- Conduct driver based analysis to identify the root causes of financial variances.
- Clearly articulate findings and recommendations to management in a simple, digestible format.

- Strong expertise in building complex financial models; advanced Excel skills.
- High energy and a proactive mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple competing demands independently.
- Exceptional PowerPoint skills with a proven ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- A curious, growth oriented attitude with a passion for learning and relationship building.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or CA qualification.
