Your new role Our Hays Sydney CBD office is currently a temporary Commercial Finance Officer commencing immediately until mid-January 2026. We're looking for someone to join our team to help manage compliance tasks and support our preferred supplier agreements. Responsibilities
Reviewing reports and resolving compliance issues
Using Excel and rate calculators to manage data
Communicating with internal teams to resolve queries
Maintaining cost details for temporary staff contracts
Interpreting supplier agreements to calculate pay rates
Creating and updating rate calculators
Managing payroll-related costs like superannuation, tax, and rebates
Supporting with ad hoc reporting when needed
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in finance or compliance is an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to high volumes of enquiries
A proactive approach to problem-solving
High attention to detail and accuracy
