- Overview
- The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team translates Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy into local execution and drives operational excellence across ANZ. As the Activation GTM Manager for Cloud & AI, you will accelerate revenue growth, strengthen field agility, and support field execution by partnering across Sales Excellence, Sales, Marketing, Consulting, Customer Success, and Partner teams.
- This role focuses on aligning processes and tools, optimizing cross-solution pipelines, ensuring clear communication and flawless execution, and using insights to support data-driven decisions. You will play a critical role in scaling customer adoption of Cloud & AI platforms through deep solution play knowledge, product truth, and strong collaboration across the business.

- Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy & Business Performance
- Execute Cloud & AI Platform (CAIP) solution plays to improve ACR performance in partnership with Activation GTM and Solution Play GTM teams.
- Drive new pipeline creation, close pipeline gaps by OU/segment, and localize global strategies for ANZ.
- Support FY26 CAIP program delivery and performance.
- Sales Activation
- Lead end-to-end activation of CAIP solution plays, including cross-solution plays (e.g., Agentic).
- Resolve field blockers and influence improvements through structured feedback loops.
- Partner with Solution Play GTM teams and Area GTM ICs to deliver readiness, skilling, and insights on wins/losses, competitive trends, and partner feedback.
- Demand Generation
- Orchestrate execution of the CAIP marketing plan with Integrated Marketing Managers, Area GTM ICs, and Partner teams.
- Drive signal conversion, pipeline creation, and high-quality customer events.
- Shape content and agendas to amplify CAIP priorities.
- Product Leadership
- Act as a strong advocate for Azure and CAIP solutions, demonstrating external and internal thought leadership.
- Surface local insights to inform global product strategy, roadmap, and readiness.
- Understand industry trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- MACC + Unified Stewardship
- Advance MACC acquisition strategy and expand workload penetration.
- Accelerate ACR through Unified, expand Unified account coverage, and support data-driven optimization.
- Partner with the Activation Director to significantly increase MACC penetration.
- Operational Excellence
- Partner with Sales Excellence and Sales Operations to drive sales discipline, pipeline acceleration, and MCEM orchestration.
- Promote consistent use of programs, investments, and standardized tools across field teams.
- Maintain a connected ROB that aligns marketing and sales insights with Corp via VSU, IAP, and other core cadences.

- Qualifications
- Required Qualifications (RQs)
- 8+ years in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- 8+ years driving product/solution portfolio growth, demand generation, and pipeline acceleration in a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) environment.
- Experience in Financial Services Industry (FSI) markets.
- Experience leveraging AI to support customer success and business transformation.
- Familiarity with Azure and commercial cloud execution models.
- Experience introducing new products or services into the ANZ market, OR equivalent experience.
