Key Responsibilities:
Client Management & Retention: Own an allocated portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth. Execute structured call cycles and business reviews to strengthen partnerships and help clients achieve their Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) targets.
Commercial Growth: Drive increased buying group spend by influencing strategic purchasing behaviours and promoting product swaps. Accountable for individual sales and spend targets.
Sales & Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for new business, from prospecting and pipeline development to proposal delivery and contract closure. Prepare and deliver monthly forecasts and pipeline updates.
Onboarding & Strategy: Lead client onboarding to ensure seamless adoption of the software, procurement processes, and systems. Align client plans with distributor capabilities and manufacturer programs.
Strategic Advisory: Review client COGs performance, monthly spend, and sales trends to identify risks and growth opportunities. Deliver data-driven insights and action plans through formal client business reviews.
What You Will Bring:
Experience: Degree-level qualification in Business/Hospitality Management OR equivalent 7+ years of practical experience within the hospitality/foodservice industry (e.g., Chef, Venue Operations, Account Management).
Commercial Acumen: Sound commercial thinking with the ability to assess risk, structure proposals, and negotiate win-win outcomes that support both client needs and business profitability.
Data Proficiency: Confident interpreting commercial and operational data (e.g., spend, COGs, usage trends) to uncover insights that drive retention and upselling/cross-selling.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to tailor messaging for different audiences, from chefs/kitchen teams to Venue Managers/CEOs.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
