Hays is currently working with an Australian Government Agency who manage a diverse and complex property portfolio across Australia. They are seeking an experienced Government Client Side Project Manager based in Clayton, VIC to join their Infrastructure Capital Works team.
Your new role

Lead end-to-end delivery of minor and medium capital works projects
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and compliance standards.
Ability to lead the successful delivery of concurrent project activities
Develop strategic solutions to complex project challenges, balancing whole-of-life asset management and operational needs.
Report on project performance, manage risks, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Promote a collaborative team culture and uphold high ethical standards.

What you'll need to succeed

Demonstrated experience in managing capital works projects within governance framework, guidelines and procedures
Strong knowledge of the commonwealth government procurement guidelines
Ideally, you will have construction industry qualifications or on-the-job project management experience delivering similar projects.
Strong leadership capabilities and high-level communication skills
You must be an Australian citizen to be eligible to work with the Federal Government.
