About the role
ARRCS Katherine Hostel Aged Care facility, located in Katherine Northern Territory are sourcing an experienced Cleaner and Laundry attendant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis working 38 hr per week on a rotating roster. This role is being offered at a penalty driven hourly rate of $29.53 - $31.81 / hour gross base depending on skills and experience.
This role will primarily involve cleaning duties within our facility and when required laundry support. Tasks include cleaning of common areas and residents’ rooms, laundry – labelling, sorting, washing, drying of clothes and linen.
This role will suit someone who is able to demonstrate previous experience working within a commercial cleaning environment., You will be able to commit to full time hours and have flexibitity enjoys working within a kitchen environment and happy to support other operational areas within the facility when required. You will be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. You will understand the importance of your role and the impact it has on our residents.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
- Ability to commit to rostered shifts and understanding of the impact on our elderly residents when allocated shifts are not completed.
- Ability to work well independently as well as with other team members.
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
- A motivated, enthusiastic, and positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
ARRCS Mandatory Compliance:
Please be advised, all ARRCS staff are required to hold or lodge the following prior to commencement. This is not required at time of application, however, please be aware if successful in a role:
- A National Police Check dated or lodged within 3-months of commencement.
- Current year Influenza Vaccination.
- A NDIS Screening check received or lodged prior to commencement.
