Backpackers Hostel requires Housekeeper.

We’re looking for a reliable and positive Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our small, dedicated team at Somewhere To Stay Backpackers in Brisbane. Looking for someone with a veiw to a permanent, long-term role.

Starting at 21 hrs per week with potential to increase to 35 hrs
Shifts 8am–3pm, Monday–Sunday (weekend availability is a must)

Key duties
• Prepare and clean rooms, making beds, vacuuming & dusting
• Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals
• Cleaning of common areas and Kitchen area
• Proactively report hazards, damaged or faulty equipment

The ideal candidate requires:
• What we’re looking for:
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Physically fit (3-storey property with stairs)
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive “can do” attitude
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Passion for creating a welcoming environment for guests
• Certificate III in Cleaning Operations highly desirable
