- Job Description: Fitzroy location, close to public transport Excellent benefits including salary packaging Part time, Mon - Fri: 6:30am - 2:00pm About the Role You will actively participate as a member of the cleaning team and ensure the delivery of efficient and responsive cleaning and housekeeping services across the St. Vincent's Hospital Campus. Areas include offices, specialty labs, research units and clinical areas. Waste Removal: general waste, clinical and sharps waste, recyclables and confidential waste as per waste management policies. Restocking of bins and sharps containers as necessary Floor Maintenance: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, buffing and steam cleaning floors. Detail dusting/damp wiping: all low & high reach areas including fixtures fittings, equipment, vents and walls and sinks Bathrooms: including toilets, hand basins, shower rooms/baths and facilities General Tidiness: maintain general tidiness of public and all service areas. Classifications for this position will range between IN18 - IN19 ($48,145 - $53,508 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution Experience in cleaning (preferably in a health care environment) Experience in floor care maintenance, including steam cleaning, polishing and buffing (desirable) Able to work effectively as part of a team Able to work under minimal supervision A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain What We Offer A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling A healthy work/life balance encouraged.
