About the opportunity Mercy Place Montrose is a large, modern aged care home filled with light and retains a friendly atmosphere. Ensure the home is well presented and clean and tidy at all times. Assist residents to ensure their rooms are clean and privacy and dignity is respected Operate within the current best practice guidelines for cleaning to ensure infection control is maintained to a high standard and risk of cross contamination is minimised. To thrive in this role, you will have: Excellent time management and communication skills and a genuine desire to help others. Must be able to work within a team and alone. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to engaging with our residents and staff alike. The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. The ability to follow cleaning schedules and ensure correct chemicals and items used to maintain infection control. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: NDIS Workers check OR evidence of application AND a current Police Record Check.
