Location: Ballarat, Victoria, immediate start available with construction kicking off first week of January 2026 for a 3 month contract term.

The Company

Randstad are exclusively partnering with an exciting and expanding concrete structures and civil contractor primarily based in Melbourne’s Southeast. Offering a comprehensive range of services including concreting, steel fixing, formwork, civil/industrial plumbing, and excavations, this business is delivering to ASX listed companies on non-unionised projects across Victoria.

The Role

As the Site Supervisor, you will be the key operational leader on site, responsible for the planning, execution, and handover of diverse concrete construction projects.

Your strong focus on safety, quality, and effective team leadership will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the concrete construction team, including sub-contractors and trades, ensuring high-quality delivery at all times.
• Be the on-site leader for safety, strictly adhering to all WHS regulations and client OHS policies. Complete and close out Work Permits and required OHS documentation.
• Drive a proactive site culture taking genuine pride in delivering quality works.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for the client, contractors, and deliveries. Liaise effectively with clients, internal management, administration, and trades.

Construction Management & Administration

• Plan construction works, contribute to the construction program, and ensure the project follows the schedule as closely as possible.
• Organise materials (including ordering concrete/quarry products) and sub-contractors in a timely manner to maintain workflow.
• Complete daily pre start forms and site diaries with descriptive notes.
• Log employee / sub-contractor hours and deliveries.
• Upload site photos and enter delay details.
• Complete Incident Reports and ITP’s (Inspection and Test Plans) as required.
• Access and update programs, drawings, and documents.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager in civil or concrete construction.
• Strong knowledge of efficient and effective concrete construction methodologies.
• Expert understanding and commitment to WHS compliance and OHS policies.
• Highly valued familiarity using Procore (or similar project management software) and MS Project.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A positive outlook and a genuine teamwork mentality.
