Mt Owen/Glendell Operations (MGO) is an open cut mining operation which utilises truck and excavator mining methods to produce thermal and semi-soft coking coal, which is predominantly exported for domestic power generation and use in steel production. We are located within the Hunter Coalfields at Hebden in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales. MGO is seeking an experienced and adaptable Electrical Supervisor to join our CHPP team. Reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, you will work a Monday to Friday dayshift roster. The primary purpose of this role is to supervise and coordinate a range of Electrical Maintenance activities at MGO’s CHPP. In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing supervision of electrical maintenance activities including LV, HV, instrumentation and control systems of both internal and contractor personnel. Coordinate corrective and breakdown maintenance activities utilising SAP and the site SHMS. Identification and scoping of Electrical Improvement projects. Liaise with the Electrical Engineer and uphold the site and external electrical engineering standards. Completion of all require site visible leadership activities including conduct of Pre-Start Toolbox talks. The requirements for success in this role include: NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence. Proven commitment to a safety-first approach to all tasks. Experience in fixed plant maintenance and fault finding. Thorough knowledge of A.S.3000 and associated standards. Strong knowledge base and previous experience in SAP Plant Maintenance will also be required for this role.
