LOCATION: In-person, near Goodwood, Adelaide
DATE: 12 January to 18 December 2026
REMUNERATION: from $74,000 per annum pro-rata + 12% superannuation (depending on experience), with possibility of extension.

ROLES: Mandarin speakers with language teaching experience are invited to deliver a Mandarin language course for adult learners. You will work Monday to Friday, 0800–1630 with a one-hour meal break.
a. Term break 1: 07–10 Apr 2026
b. Term break 2: 13 -17 July 2026
c. Term break 3: 28 Sep - 02 Oct 2026
d. Term break 4: 14–25 Sep 2026 (TBC)

DUTIES:
-Deliver a Mandarin language course based on existing materials
-Adapt lesson plans, conduct assessments and other administrative duties
- Review and enhance existing course materials
- Create engaging online activities to consolidate learning
-Reporting

Essential Criteria
- Fluent in Mandarin
- University-educated, ideally in education or teaching
- Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching/tutoring English or Mandarin to adults
- Proven experience in language delivery or course development
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent knowledge of the society, history, culture and politics of China or other Mandarin speaking countries
- Detail-oriented, confident, friendly, professional and deadline-driven
