I’m looking for a talented illustrator/designer to create a fun, gift-ready book cover for my upcoming children’s activity book. The book is targeted at boys ages 8–12, but will be bought mainly by parents, grandparents, and family friends as a gift. The cover must stand out on Amazon, look polished at thumbnail size, and clearly communicate “puzzles, brain games, fun, and confidence.” ✨ What I Need Full-color, portrait cover illustration in a clean, cartoon/digital painting style (Procreate, Illustrator, or similar). Central character: a boy superhero (cape + glowing puzzle piece emblem). Pose example: lying on his tummy writing in a book (and lying on top of a maze). Background: puzzle/game elements (crossword with filled words, word search with circled words, Sudoku grid, maze paths, chess knight, Rubik’s cube, calculator, magnifying glass). Bold, kid-friendly typography for title & subtitle (I can provide the text). Must look bright, energetic, and gift-worthy (aqua/teal/yellow color palette). 🎨 Style References Clean, bold illustrated covers like the 2 attached samples. I will provide additional sample covers for inspiration. 📐 Deliverables KDP cover file (front only) for 6x9 inch dimensions. Editable layered source file (PSD, AI, or Procreate). Exported high-resolution PNG/JPEG of the cover only. Open to long-term collaboration for future covers (I publish a series of activity & fact books). ✅ Requirements Experience illustrating children’s books or educational covers. Strong portfolio with cartoon/clean illustration style. Ability to deliver polished work that looks professional on Amazon/KDP.
